All of us from the Life Lessonz team would like to thank everyone who has supported us and participated in the 2022 Virtual Program this summer!
This year, we were fortunate enough to receive funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation Resilient Communities Fund. To recognize all of their help and to support Life Lessonz Inc., we put on our final show for our campers who inspire us each and every day!

TELEVISION
One of our Day Camp Leaders Alex, assisted by our Project Manager Michelle, had the amazing opportunity to represent the Life Lessonz community LIVE on TV during a Breakfast Television morning segment! We wanted to recap this moment as this was an unforgettable experience for all of us.
Catch Alex, along with the help of Michelle, teach Dina Pugliese a smart hack on how to know whether an egg is hard-boiled or raw.
Thanks for sharing a cool science hack with all of us Alex, and thank you to Breakfast Television for allowing us to showcase the awesome youth in our community.
ROTARY RIB
N ROLL
One of our past campers now leader, Stevie, performed “O Canada” in front of the Brampton community at this year’s Rotary Rib n Roll this year. Life Lessonz Inc. was also fortunate to have the opportunity to participate in the 2022 Rotary Rib 'N Roll, where we were graciously chosen as one of the registered charities to be given a generous donation. Thank you so much to the Rotary Rib n Roll for a fantastic event, and for making such a massive impact in our community!

Our team would like to send out a huge congratulations to Patricia Digby, our Executive Director, for being nominated for the annual RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards for the 2nd time!

REWIRE THE CAMPFIRE
Life Lessonz hosted an event called “Rewire the Campfire” to bring back camp one last time in our 2021 year. Check out our journey on how we were able to go from an in-person to an online program! During this event, we took a look back on the amazing summer we had at Life Lessonz.
LIFE LESSONZ GIVES BACK
At Life Lessonz, we teamed up with Regeneration to give back to our local community. With your donations, we were able to create care packages with everyday essentials.
Life Lessonz headed over to Regeneration Brampton, to donate 136 essential care packages that were able to be made, thanks to your donations. The Life Lessonz Gives Back campaign was a huge success, and we are so thankful that as a community, we are able to give back. A huge thanks again to Regeneration Outreach for working with us on this amazing cause.

One of our day camp leaders Aman was given an amazing opportunity to be interviewed on CBC Radio!
Life Lessonz is sending out a huge congratulations to Aman on his successful radio interview that was aired August 5th, 2020 on CBC RADIO: METRO MORNING!:

RBC signed the #DearEverybody commitment, ensuring more inclusivity and diversity in their marketing. #DearEverybody strives to ensure that individuals with disabilities are seen and heard. RBC has donated $200,000 to the “Launching Healthy & Meaningful Futures” program at the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital in honour of International Day of People with Disabilities.
Last year, a team at @rbc gracefully joined our Life Lessonz campers & staff, exemplifying the #DearEverbody commitment. Thank you, RBC!

Life Lessonz celebrates the graduation of 3 amazing students - O'Neil, Aman, & Taylan. We loved having you at camp and are so proud of your accomplishments. The Life Lessonz team wanted to wish our graduates a happy graduation and all the best in their futures, so, we surprised them right outside their homes (while following social distancing rules & wearing face masks, of course) with their personalized graduation caps, a treat basket, and a special performance.
